HAPPY NEW YEAR!

New Years Eve for me is a time to reflect on the old year…..what would I like to do better, what did I do that I shouldn’t have and how can I make the new year better for me and the people I love.

Love, laugh and being kind to others should be an important part of everyone’s new year.   Doing random acts of kindness, showing the people that you love, that you love them, you need them and you respect them.

So, I hope you take this time to reflect on what you can become in 2012.  What  can you do to change the lives of the people who you love and who  loves you .

Everyone have a safe and Happy New Year.  Watch out for those who drink and drive, if you know someone who does, please care enough to sit them down and talk to them.  They could kill themselves or someone else.

Does Anyone Have Information Of The Social Numbing of Social Networks.?

I’ve seen numerous articles and studies showing the dissociation between people these days because of social networks such as facebook and myspace. Where once wishing someone a happy birthday was something special and you did in person, you now just send them a happy birthday poke on facebook. Its so impersonal. Can anyone share their opinions on the impersonal numbing of these social networking sites and how they are killing our social society? Links, videos, documentries and articles would be much appreciated too.

The more extensive a social network is, the less personal it tends to be as well.
